Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on 16 April 1996, in Miami Florida. It is daughter to Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is a half-Spanish and the other half is English. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish and English origin. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy, who is the youngest of five children. Four are of her father's previous marriage. Family was within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and then moved to Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy said it was an emotional move, and refused to study English as she wanted to be able to return to Argentina. She was forced to transfer schools in Northlands in order to attend Hill House. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she took ballet classes and appeared in school plays. She dropped out of high school at the age of 16 in order to pursue her acting profession. Taylor-Joy was an actress as a kid who knew she would become an actor. Her dreams were realized after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a position as a model.
