Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, TV host and actor most well-known for her role as host of the popular daytime talk show The Talk. Born in Arkansas she was raised in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in an extremely difficult household. She was a child who spent a lot of time caring for her younger older sister Frankie. Frankie was a victim of polio. She was in issues with her mother when growing to. Sheryl says that at one point her mother cut her dad due to his proximity. Sheryl when she graduated from college was drafted into the military. But her passion was comedy. She was the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She started her TV professional career in 1992 when she was a regular performer on the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as host of the television talk show Oh Drama! Since 2011, she has been appearing as a co-host on the talk show The Talk. She also has fictional roles in shows like Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
