Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer and singer. In addition to being a beautiful and intelligent actor, Lucy Liu acts as a role-model for many Asian actors who are in Hollywood that want to be successful. Following a string of appearances on popular television series, she became famous when she was cast on the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. The actress took her initial popularity into big screen roles in films including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. Then she gave a stunning performance in the role of Japanese crime lord O-Ren as QT's Kill Bill Volume 1. At the same time she appeared in box-office flops like Rise: Blood Hunter. In later years, she worked as voice actor in animated films, including Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's role on the small screen in Cashmere Mafia did not produce anything of note. The role she played in the critically-acclaimed police drama Southland helped re-establish herself as an established actress. Liu picks her roles wisely to avoid becoming typecast in this competitive industry. Although she is adamant about her heritage however, this has not hindered her in her professional work being an artist.
