Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British musician and a musician and. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. He is the son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, along with three of his classmates, formed a musical group dubbed White Eskimo. After they won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, they also participated in the 2010 Battle of Bands. Although he has always been fascinated by music, he was also aspired to become an attorney or an physiotherapist. In order to provide for the family he worked a short time working part-time in a bakery. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and did Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He was selected. The reason for this is that his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he be part of a new band, One Direction. The other band members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to form the band in 2010. In the contest, the group performed songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls to win the contest. They were in third position behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who were the winners. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell has offered a two million-pound contract with One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
