Kathrin Romany Beckinsale, born 26 July 1973.[1][2][3] Kathrin Romany Beckinsale is an English actress from England. Her debut in film came after the appearance of a couple of small television parts. She was an Oxford University student at the time of Much Ado About Nothing (1993). She was in British costume dramas such as Prince of Jutland (1994), Cold Comfort Farm (1995), Emma (1996), Shooting Fish (1997) (a contemporary romantic crime comedy) and The Golden Bowl (2000) as well as various broadcast and stage productions. Beckinsale began working in film in the United States in the late 1990s. After appearing in small-scale dramas The Last Days of Disco (1998) and Brokedown Palace (1999), Beckinsale starred in Pearl Harbor (2001), Serendipity (2001) and Tiptoes (2003). After her lead roles in The Aviator (2004), Click (2006) as well as Click (2006), she also appeared in the film Click. The films all made her a main character in Hollywood.Since she played the role of Selene in the Underworld film series (2003-2016), Beckinsale has been recognized for her role in action-oriented films, including Van Helsing (2004), Whiteout (2009), Contraband (2012) as well as Total Recall (2012). Her appearances in dramas such as Snow Angels (2007) or Nothing but the Truth (2008) and Everybody's Fine (2010) continue. The reviews for her films were favorable for both her debut films. She was nominated for the Critics Choice Movie Award for Best Actress In a Comedy for Love & Friendship in 2016. Jolt (1921) introduced her back to action-film. She also appeared in two television series with Jolt (2021) and The Widow (202019).
